The Africa Baseball Project (ABP) is dedicated to growing the game of baseball across Africa by providing access, resources, and opportunities for youth. Many players have the talent and passion for the game but lack the equipment and exposure needed to succeed. ABP works to close that gap through development programs, facility improvements, and community-driven initiatives.
Through these efforts, ABP not only helps develop athletes, but also builds discipline, confidence, and life skills that extend far beyond the game.

FOUNDER
MEET THE FOUNDER: Mario Signorello
Mario Signorello is the driving force behind the Africa Baseball Project and the vision that continues to expand the game globally. Through his leadership, ABP has grown into an international initiative, reaching multiple countries and creating opportunities for players who otherwise would not have access to baseball.
His ability to build relationships, organize programs, and connect with donors has played a major role in the success of the project. Mario’s vision goes beyond the game, using baseball as a tool to create opportunity, structure, and hope for communities around the world.
Field of Dreams
FIELD OF DREAMS – BUILDING A FUTURE FOR THE GAME
One of the most important initiatives within ABP is the development of the Field of Dreams complex in Nairobi, Kenya. This project represents a long-term vision of creating a true home for baseball, where players can train, compete, and develop in a structured environment.
The Field of Dreams is more than just a field—it is a foundation for growth. With plans to expand and add additional fields over time, this initiative helps create sustainability for the sport while giving young athletes a place to pursue their passion.
FACILITY DEVELOPMENT
BUILDING THE GAME FROM THE GROUND UP
ABP focuses on improving the foundation of baseball by helping develop fields and training environments. This includes projects such as building backstops, providing equipment, and improving overall playing conditions.
By creating better environments, ABP is giving players the opportunity to train, compete, and grow in a more professional and safe setting.
